My new FX

Whats going on fellow IS members? I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Trevor, I'm 17 years young. Yes, 17. I've been on these forums for sometime now browsing around at some very unique FX's. And now, I have my own. Yes, my dad did buy it, but please dont misjudge me and compare me to other Kids, who dont realize what they have. I do.
Anyway, it's an 05 Black/Basketball/PeanutButter interior is what I like to call it? The truck has 30k on it, and my dad paid somewhere between 17-19k for it. The paint is immaculate and the interior is flawless. Clean title, the whole 9 yards...Only thing missing it front tint and Navi. I feel the need to tell you guys that I love the sport tails on this OMG:tongue:. Anyway I snapped two pics of it so I can share my enjoyment with you guys!

I do have a few questions about the lights, but I guess here is inappropriate.
 
welcome. i'm 17 too ill be 18 in november. my parents got me mine as a grad gift. enjoy it!
 
welcome. im 18, will be 19 in january. the people here seem to be pretty nice about us younger folk, but im not much of a show off type person so i guess i havnt given them a chance to be annoyed. besides, FX was my third car after 2 years of driving. finally got to pick out my own car, and not a hand me down from parents. :biggrin:

Just a few words of advice since StuLax18 mentioned the "younger crowed".

FX is a High Performance SUV. It drives like a Sports car, but Rides higher than regular cars. It weighs over 4000 lbs.

Please treat it with respect and don't ever think of it as a Race Car. It is far from it and unless you have all the necessary mods to make it close to a Street Car, don't attempt to drive it like one. I've had the misfortune of trying this, and I got slammed in to the curve and had to cough up $4000 to fix the damages.

I hope I don't sound too much like a "Dad". Just a word of caution. I've totaled a few cars when I was your age, but FX is way too nice of a car to total.:smile:

Appreciate it man, thanks for all the comments guys! First thing I would like to do is tint the front, and change the hid's to maybe about 6 0r 8k.. undecided as of yet. Navi possibly as well
 
thats hella cheap, and nice colors. hope you enjoy it. it only took me about 20 years to figure out i needed something more practical like the FX. but it has just enough performance for me to see past its short comings. great all around car.
 
Hey, welcome to the scene. Early graduation present? Keep in mind, you can also tint your back windows. Check mine out if you get the chance. Extra dark. hahahahha
