So as you may know i switched from my megan coilovers back to H&R Kyb combo and its certainly not an upgrade. Im going to miss the coilovers, it turned my fx into a different animal.

My opinion on Megan Coilovers

Pros: Less body roll, firmness, cornering handling easiness, car feels lighter, brakes better, car feels a little quicker due to less weight, i feel planted all times especially when cornering. Rear feels planted dampening is just perfect.

Cons: Bouncy, need to maintain it periodically, my steering wheel felt lighter, you feel the road way too much, bottoms out easily under heavy load

H&R + KyB

Pros: Car feels firm but not firmer, smoother ride, no bounce, doesnt bottom out

Cons: Cornering doesnt feel like the coilovers a little upgrade from the oem springs; still needs improvement sways allot, heavier definitely i felt the extra weight, braking performance decreased, car doesnt feel fast anymore. Rear feels under damped.

I don't remember why you had to switch. Are you running spacers with the H&R? I had 25mm on OEM 20" and it rode and handled nicely. And you forgot one:

Coilovers Pro: Adjustable ride height for a bad ass stance!

Not necessarily; if the Megan's are like the BC's and I believe they are made in the same factory, then they're undersprung. My BC's bottom out more frequently than I'd like. I remember looking up the stock spring rates for BC's and the FX and G had the same rate in front I think. Considering the FX is a decent bit heavier, it's undersprung.

Maybe so. Even if they are unsprung, you can add more preload and dampening.

They also offer taller/shorter springs at different rates. I know I opted for a softer 10k front and 8k rear rate at 330mm springs because I wasn't going to slam. And other people went 14/12k @ 280-300mm because they wanted to slammed.

But no point in arguing now. The work is done.

Springs are pre-loaded, but it doesn't help once the bump blows through the preload. And my damping is set 2 clicks from max. Higher rate springs are on the to do list; just have to finish some other projects first.
