I knew something was up - :top:
They look good Dave....
What are the specs?

BTW - I'm not looking at the EC title - I'm gunning for the fastest N/A 35

Haha . . I'm sure I'm fairly close, I mean, Tadashi nurtured mine too, & I think my cutoff is in the 8000 rpm range.

Specs:

Gianelle V5
22X9ET 35
Pirelli Scorpions F/R 305R 35

Pretty fat for a 9, but that's what they came with. I actually like the sidewall bulge for two reasons, 1, they give plent of rim protection, 2, the bulge helps out with the offset that could actually be a little more aggresive. Anywho, it's a huge diff. from before. The ride is better tahn with the RSAs, & it feels stickier. I cant believe how quiet the Pirelli's are. I think they weigh less than the stockers w/ Goods. I couldnt get over how frickin heavy the 20's are.

We'll see though, I may go to 285's on the front after these are spent & 305 at the rear, or maybe a diff combination alltogether. Dunno, but good for now.

Close only counts in slow dancing......:crossedlips:
All show and no go - :4tongue:
I'll be waiting for ya in April bud.:tinysmile_sleep_t:

Looking very good Dave. I told ya the pirelli's were sticky. Love th pictures too.

Tires do look a bit sidewall beefy in the last picture, but with the width and conservative offset it does help with the visual wider stance. You can always change out he tires when they come due to change out. Enjoy buddy!

Btw, how's the wife liking the new shoes?

Nice looking set up Dave!!! I like how the tires look beefy. It makes them look almost like truck tires while fitting on 22's and having it lowered. Same look as docs which I also love. Makes it look like it eats asphalt for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Now go and buy some PIAA turn signals.

Very nice Dave !!!!!!! :congrats: .. You made the right choice in size, 22's look better. I thought you were going with Toyo's?

thx guys.
The Pirellis were already on there when I bought the wheels from original owner.
They seem like really good tires so far, only downside is they're already half baked.

There's a downside to being half baked?? :4tongue: .. LOL .. That's alright tho, at least you can test out these tires until it's time for you to replace them.

Wow, very nice Dave. First time I see your FX. Never saw this thread before.

You noticed? haha I think it was a screwup with the new photobucket edit area. Those tools kinda suck. very little control.

Here's a few more shots that I took that day

Your welcome Dave. Yeah, would be cool to have them side by side. Tell me about it. My 4x4, I mean FX looked way higher than Will's, Ken's and especially Berts to the ground 54. I just ordered my intake, so my next mod after I come back from my trip to AZ will be the lowering. So I will have it done by the end of April.

Do any of you take long trips in your lowered, rimmed up FX's?

Why not? Long trips are great in the FX, seats so nice , & my ride is smoother than before cuz the Pirellis are actually worthy tires. I used to trek on RSA's, so anythings's better than that.
