My Interior Swap

Ed done that already.

Maybe that's why you didn't notice a huge difference. It's a diminishing return issue. The doors and it looks like the hatch were already done so that was your baseline. Doing the floor and rest won't be as drastic. If you went from stock to fully covered, you may have been more impressed.

Very good point Shadow! I guess the only way to find out is to do it to Andrew's, but I want proof this time around though. Need to get a sound level meter for before and after measurement!

So the ducts are for cooling the rear passengers? My 09 50S doesnt have anything like that?

Guys, thanks for all the good words. Honestly, I did not expect to spent 20+ hours with four hands to lay down the B-Quiet. Glad that its all done. The black plastic ducts from the center console to the back runs up to the B pillar vents.

Putting the 35 back together is another story :smile (2): I will post a couple of pics of it current condition later!

Yep, a small duct on either pillar to keep the gen 1 passengers in air conditioned comfort. :)

Hey andy how did you add tweeters to the rear doors? I see you have them!

Thats because on the 2nd gen the moved the rear cooling and heating vents from the B pillars to the back of the center console instead. Dont you ever look in the back?:)

Hey Aaron, you just needs to drill a hole with the proper size hole saw into the door panel and then wire it into the speaker line with hi pass filter. The tweeters comes will all the necessary mounting hardware and most comes with the filter too. Very straight forward, just be careful where to drill the hole and making sure there are clearance for it to mount it and when the panel goes back onto the door. Remember measure twice, cut once!

Here is some photos of how I drill into the door panel, but these photos are not installing tweeters.

When you say you wired it into the speaker line with a hi pass filter do you mean you just tapped into power from the front tweeters?
