My FX35.. Idle, cold and warm runs..

Nicely Doc'd.
Any diff in power through the revband?

I didn't push it that hard yet but so far I can say that it revs much quicker, pulls really hard after 4000 rpms and I didn't feel any torque loss at the low range. I also got it lowered on h&rs so I think that & the dual 2.5" setup explains the extra agility on the highways speeds..

Cipher & +2 update

I received cipher from Jonathan (ShadyJC) today and did some before and after 0-60 times with my g-timer. Overall, I can say that +2 made a big difference. Even when normally moving from a stop I can feel the car is more eager.. That might be me so happy as well though  Details are below:

Setup:
Stillen CAI w/Z tube
MD 5/16" plenum spacer
Stillen stainless headers
Kakumei Y-pipe
APS Single Turbo exhaust modded to fit Kakumei (3.0" from Y => expands to 3.5" for about 2-3 inches =>splits to dual 2.5" with mufflers at each pipe=> dual 2.5" in rear muffler. All stainless, mandrel bent)

Before:
#1: 7.13
#2: 7.00
#3: 7.07
#4: 7.03
#5: 7.09

After:
#1: 6.75
#2: 6.83
#3: 6.72
#4: 6.87
#5: 6.80

If you take the best from each, it looks like I cut .28 off of a second. The runs were made on a completely flat road at 73 degrees with average humidity (didn't measure that). Cipher measures everything real time but I couldn't get it record the runs properly. It only records about 8 seconds of it. If I can get it to record longer, I will post detailed numbers.

I also think the weather helped. I think my FX runs best when it's between 65-75. Don't know why though.. It never runs as good in the cold winter or when it's above 75.. +2 on the other hand is hands down best mod I ever did. Even with headers I didn't feel this much performance.. I might be exaggerating but I didn't feel it this way at least.. It's also possible that it helped out other mods to realize some more gains.. Increasing timing is one of the two major things they do in a tune, right?

Those are very nice gains. We who had this done awhile now knew this to be true.

Bump, seems clips are broken. Hard to decide on an exhaust when there are barely any clips.
Photobucket might just be down though. Will check in the morning.

Photobucket must be down. I had moved the entire base album 3 months ago but placed it back like a week - 10 days ago. I can see the clips so it should be photobucket.
