My FX just Died!!

I'm glad for the detail on answers on this thread.. It was easy to figured out what was wrong with my FX.

Question. When cleaning the TB completely can I spray the sovent everywhere? Doing that won't cause any harm right?

Likely not. Just dont play with the butterfly too much. The whole part is servo driven, so if it does go outa whack, your dealer can reset it's position

Cool. I cleaned it as much as I could one of the BT's bolts doesn't want to get loose. So I didn't have much of a choice. Did my best cleaning it and while I was at it I cleaned the shoe intake tube and the case where the filter is at,also clean the whole engine bay it looks brand new. Went for a test run and it's back to normal. If that bolt wasn't giving me so much problem I would have removed the shoe upper plenum.. *sighs*

A quick shout out to all Forum participants! I'm not very active here, but when I have an FX problem I count on the help of you guys on the forum. My FX suddenly died last Saturday. After sitting for 15 minutes, it started again and left an engine code to follow up on. By that night I suspected the camshaft position sensor after searching the forum. I also felt confident that I could fix it myself after verifying that the Code was P0340.
I bought the part from the local Nissan dealer and it was a super easy fix, once I found the location.
Thanks again!

Nice work. Mine died once randomly as well, about a year ago now. I keep waiting for it to happen again so I can feel justified in replacing the sensor. :p
