There are two versions of the stock taillights for first gens: Sport and non-sport. Non-sport are red lenses over red innards. Sport are clear lenses with chrome innards. It has been confirmed by turbo and a few others that the chrome of the non-sport tails come in varying shades of darkness. The variance depends solely on the manufacturing process and not an option package or feature.
