i bought a set of the smoked tail lights from ebay and a set of those weathertech rain guards and i put them in yesterday. i never have done any type of modification to any of my previous cars by myself, besides sound.

i have to say that after i finished putting those in, i am very happy with the outcome and it made me feel great to know that i did the mods myself...

thanks for all the info you guys give on this site!! love my FX and iS...:tup:
 
how do i do that... i probably should open another thread for this... i dunno how to upload photos and put them in my message nor do i know how to put like my info of my car on the bottom of my posts... i took some pics with my iphone...

For info on car go to your profile page, click customize profile, then click edit signature on left column
 
Good for you for just taking the time to figure it out! That's they way it has been for ALL my mods except for transmission. It is definitely addictive. Next up should be a cold air intake. You can do it!!!

arent those called smoked tails though??? i thought i already had sport ones on there?? either way i like the ones i have! lol.. i get all happy when i see them:laugh:. i dont think im gunna black them out... as far as the reflectors go.. i have some ideas im going to post!! i dont just wanna black those

haha yea see i thought you got SMOKED ones....those are sport =]
 
Cool. My very first was a K&N drop-in filter. My second was LED DTRL's and my third was those tails I believe because they just came out and us fools were shellin' out $380-400 for those bad boys ;)

+1 about smoked vs sport. Those are the 2005-2008 sport package tail lights. Smoked means a light tint on the outer lens. The lenses on these are completely clear.

i dont think the sport is COMPLETELY clear

Ya, its definatly got a very mild tint to it i would say...
