My $1000 - 04 FX35

so here it is...

******AKEBONO REAR CALIPERS ARE A DIRECT BOLT ON TO THE 1ST GEN FX KNUCKLES *****

so you do not need to buy 2nd knuckles/spindles to have rear AKEBONO calipers....

what you need to complete the job

1. PAIR of Akebono Rear calipers
2. PAIR of FX50 rear rotors
3. PAIR of stainless steal brake hose for FX50 calipers
4. shave lip or remove backing plate

THAT'S IT!!!

#1 - audi r8 coils are actually cheaper than the factory infiniti coils
#2 - audi r8 coils run more voltage than infiniti. 50,000 volts vs 30,000 - more voltage = more spark power for better burn in combustion chamber
#3 - audi r8 coils dissipate heat faster than infiniti coils - metal design vs rubber design

Have you installed the R8 coils yet? I'm curious to see how you do it and if you notice any changes. Are your original coils bad?
 
A coil can only respond to the voltage it sees from the ECU. The R8 coils probably kick ass but would likely output exactly like stock coils without increasing voltage input.
 
picked this thing up for $1000.

It needed some minor engine work, but lucky me, i work at an Infiniti Dealership... $600 bucks later runs like a champ!!!

2004 FX35 rwd w/182K

still need to replace all the door lock actuators, they dont work!!
All you need now is some BRISK gapless racing plugs
