My '05 FX35 Up for Auction - Salvage Tomorrow!

It's with a heavy-heart that I post this link to salvage company that's handling the Georgia Certificate-of-Title-Salvage for my (totaled) beloved 2005 INFINITI FX35 RWD Touring; 3.5L V6 - 20" Aluminum-Alloy Wheels, LED Lights, Roof-Rail Crossbars; Golden Sand Metallic/Willow w/ Gray Trim. My Beast is being sold at auction tomorrow, May 29th, 2018. Vehicle valued at $7,533 - however, the only bid so far is $200. Anyone looking to grab some parts/sell the parts, etc would do well to bid/purchase. If you do - I'd be glad to supply all maintenance paperwork (including excel spreadsheet of all warrant replacements/maintenance costs) from day-1 (yes, I still have the huge file); can give you detail, etc. For instance, Windshield was replaced only two weeks before crash - still pristine. 20" Toyo Tires replaced in May 2017 ; 1-year old!

Wish like hell I could bid, win auction to get him back, but reality - besides being threatened with divorce - is I'm not a mechanic and wouldn't know the first thing about repairing him; doubtful it'd be worth the cost anyway. I'd still love to have him back to sell for parts because I took real good care of him, especially the interior (except for floor-mats...lol!).

If anyone purchases from this forum, I'll gladly give you the entire set of original Owner's Manuals (including the unused Service and Maintenance Guide booklet), original black-leather folder for the manuals w/Infiniti logo and original Infiniti logo pen. Also, the original (never used) First Aid Kit w/Infiniti logo (black zippered-vinyl).

Such a bummer. Looks like you took great car of it. IMO, Looks totally repairable too if you paid cash to the right shop. There’s a lot of air up in the bay of a 35 and engine still like good. Needs Radiator, supports, bumper, a pull on that front clip. Dunno man. Depending where the bid goes, Maybe get paid on it and then fix, with some cash to spare

Unfortunately, estimated cost to repair is outta my range at just over $19,000. Someone with mechanic skills, across to wholesale parts, could make it worth the paltry sum likely to sell tomorrow. I estimate it’ll fetch less that $1k.
 
Let me find the insurance estimate tomorrow and I’ll share; bottom line: the steel bumper guard jackknifed backward into the engine.
