Must be Newbie day at the forum....

Hi board. Picked up an FX after driving an Audi allroad (highly modded) for the past 6 years. Was glad to find this site as I was used to the AudiWorld.com level of enthusiast. Choose the FX because I needed the ability to tow a light trailer with a quad or jet ski and wanted to get a higher ride height so I have better reaction time on my highway commute. This was the only cross that had the whole package between sport and soft utility (I leave it to my Suburban for the heavy stuff). Love the FX so far.... Hope to get a set coil overs and work on firming up the suspension. So far I've changed all the exterior lights to LEDs, tinted front windows, added some better rubber/wheels, and installed a Curt hitch (nice product).

Congrats on the FX and welcome to the Scene! Lots of audi lovers here as well.

Welcome to IS! This board has got to be one of the best I've ever joined. Lots of mod lovers here too!

Thanks.... You guys have some impressive mods. I'll need to work on my sig line and break out my wallet! I like the layout of this board (easy to navigate). The Audi site got screwed up about a year ago and a lot of us dropped off. Look forward to tapping into your collective FX expertise.

Gotta say since I have owned my sweetheart for under a month and just 1300 miles. I think I'll shy away from mods unless mud flaps qualify:err:

:tup::tup:congrats and welcome. Looks like another FXer thats gonna empty his wallet into the ride . From your username it looks like you got the 2nd gen? 35 or 50?

Welcome to the forum where we fully support better living through FX creativity. Probably won't step up to pay for your FX habit BUT we'll sure as hell encourage you.....

Thanks guys for the warm welcome (To sir21, yes its a 2nd gen 35). Taking the ride up to Maine to open up camp this afternoon. Summer is a very short season up there. This will be the first time towing with the FX and strapping the Thuling on top. Need to order a cell / iTouch cradle that fits into the cup holder. I'm kinda surprised that Infiniti doesn't make the iPod cable a little longer so you have better mounting options. Had to put the Blackberry on the windshield over the left vent.

welcome to :iS:... i find the SCENE very informative... and the pics of the FXrs on this site is simply awesome... eventually your wallet will give in.. for starters go with the IS decals.
