i have a 2005 fx35 awd and i wanted to get a muffler delete for it i was just wondering how much louder it would make it bc i want to make it known that i am coming. i needed to know whats a average price it would cost to get this done. thanks! open to other suggestions

Price will vary depending on location and shops. Maybe $100-$150 on the low end? But why do you want everyone to know you're coming? The FX isn't fast and making it obnoxiously loud is well...obnoxious. I hate the sound of local ricer 350's and G35's with cheap exhausts or muffler deletes. It's so raspy and buzzy, very much sounds like a Civic. But I guess if that's what you're going for, have at it. Muffler deletes don't sound good. Just save your money and get an exhaust.

Muffler delete is way too loud and IMO sounds like crap.

The fist gen fx already has one the best sounding stock exhausts out there but if you want to be louder and sound good as well then get a CBE like Invidia.

my friend did a muffler delete and it sounds good. I even know someone with a nismo exhaust and he heard it and thought it sounded good too. I should say the only reason he did the muffler delete was cause of his airbags. He actually wants to go back to stock. Probably too much drone

i would get an exhaust dude i have the greddy exhaust on my fx and wow i love it loud and its a nice sound not no garbage ricer sound etc

And that's one of the main reasons i don't want an aftermarket exhaust. Besides, the gains are minimal
