motor noise in windows

I need some help, this is my first post, I tried searching on the forun but couldn't find a similar problem.

Both my windows when rolling up are really loud and very slow at first. Im sure this isn't normal.

I'm planning to checking it out with the dealer, but given the fact that my warranty is up, I don't want to get hit in the head.

Is this a quick fix? fuse maybe?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

You could have a bad motor or a short somewhere. Could be an alternator issue also. Turn your lights on then roll up the windows. If it dims, I would say its the alternator.

Can you provide more details on how you sprayed the silicone without tearing apart the doors. Did you just spray the base of the window when they were rolled all the way up?

Thanks, I have the same issue

Jeff

i just rolled the windows down all the way and sprayed in the sides (rails) through the top, the lube makes its way down the rails, then the windows have less resistants and fly up. I found it that the cold temps had something to do with it too.
But the spray was almost instant fix, for $3.99, hey why not lol.
