I was going to have my headlights and fogs installed by a shop but I decided to do it on my own. Thank you all for your help, I was searching through forums to find the best way to connect everything.

For my 04' I did the driver side HID fog swap by taking out the screws in the wheel well and the two at the corner of the bumper. (I attempted taking the bumper off but all the 10 year old bolts started snapping, time to replace). I peeled back the wheel well cover and was able to reach inside.

Passenger side fog I had more trouble, I ended up moving the coolant reservoir as well as the funnel for the windshield wiper fluid. I did the entire ballast disconnect and install from there. To replace the light I used the method of moving the rubber siding in the lower part of bumper next to the fog light housing.

I found both sides had OEM ballasts sitting in water, could be why they shorted out. I am going to test them both because I need to swap out a ballast in a headlight. I used industrial velcro with waterproof adhesive to mount the ballasts. I also raised them so no connections would be sitting in water.

For the headlights I followed the forums earlier this week moving the air box for drivers side headlight, and radiator reservoir for passenger side to reach bulbs.

So far on my list of DIY's I have changed tail lights to OEM sport clear tails, and changed the intake to 350z z tube with a retrofit by Phantom. I bought most of phantom's goodies, I forget his new username.

:good: Looks good. My BIL running 6000K headlights & 3000K fog as well. Kudos for DIY. Yeah, the passenger side a bit tight but very doable without having to remove the bumper. Driver side is a breeze.

Thanks! All this stuff is very new for me, InfinitiScene and all the forums are gold. I never tried DIY's on any car until I landed on this site. If I continue on this route I'll have a lift in my garage by the end of the year.

Looks good bro I have 6000k headlights and 3000k fogs as well. Love the look

Thank you sir. I love the look too, and the way the fog has been in the Tri-state lately I think the 3000k was a good choice.
