Mods narrowed down to.

Ok for my FX 35 08 the 2 big Mods I want are narrowed down to Invidia exhaust with a Stillen Stage 2 SC. Right now its stock except for the Wheels and Tires. Anybody see any problems with this set up? Braces, and lowering are next. Question: what is a good intake for the SC. Im gong to slowly start ordering all this, lots of $$$$. Which is better for lowering 1-2 inches H&K or Eibach?
 
The only issue I can remember would be that supposedly the SC works best with stock headers cats and I believe exhaust. I pretty sure it has something to do with back pressure and was designed to work best with the OEM setup.

You can get the Stillen CAI plus Ztube for less then $250.00 thats a pretty good setup.
 
I'm pretty sure Stillen will recommend their exhaust with the S/C, marketing. Also, H&K makes guns, H&R makes springs. They both claim around a 1.2" drop.
 
Please no more questions about springs.....lol.
Theres a crap load of debate on the 2 brands.
Do some homework....and then decide on how you want your ride to be.
The only person that I know of that recently switched between the 2 brands is Babaluwee.

On the 09's the only option is H&R's which is still not out in the market yet.
I dont think Eibachs have anything out yet.
Anyways lets not turn this into another Eibach vs H&R thread.
Lets see what the OP is looking for as far as ride and we can go from there.

Ive done my homework, there is just so many opinions out there once I narrow it down then something else pops up where I second guess the decision. Im looking to do a simple drop of 1-2 inches. Worried about tire rub, Spring's breaking. Cutting have no idea where to begin on that one!! Don't race or do anything fancy. Mostly city driving with lots of back road highway on weekend to get out of town. Every once and a while drive to Lake Havesu "Im in ElPaso" to see my Grandparents. I don't have the knowledge or experience to do anything drastic or large scale. As of you all know Im deployed so all this gets done on my return or I can ask my uncle to do it for me or take it to a shop have them do it. "he's watching the FX". As with the Stillen SC I had it narrowed to a Invidia exhaust but then someone posted using a Stillen exhaust OK cool till I did home work and saw the thread and saw the picture of the rusted Stillen exhaust yuck:eek: and read about bad welds, fitting issues. Im not a racer want something to get my HP up and something that sounds good, and the drop to help look good and help on handling "braces and struts to follow" I don't make enough money to do something big and it backfire in the long run. I can only afford to do this during and after deployment with lots of research. I wanted a Infinidi Fx so to put a big down payment I Asked to deploy so I could save enough money to get one. Now I wanted to MOD it so I ask to deploy and here I am. I thank you all for your Help and advice Trust me I have a spiral note pad of all the Pros and Cons Im learning about MODs and such. What to do and what not to do. I even have one of them Die-cast FX here with me. You out there with a Stillen Sc please let me know how it was installing, any issues? Does it come complete. What more do I need to order with it? Any pictures would be greatly appreciated and helpful. :laugh::laugh::laugh:
