Excuse my ignorance tried to go through all he threads...
I am currently using Mobil 1 M1-108 oil filter which is a direct OEM replacement for my 2012 FX35
My simple question is: Would you rather use the taller M1-110 instead (which is listed for the FX50) would there be any issue:dont-know:

I have a 2013 FX37, and I'm using the M1-110 oil filter with no problems. There are lots of engine room for the taller filter. The thread and placement are exactly the same.
 
Thanks...i will opt for the taller version if clearance is not an issue
My mechanic even told me last the M1-108 seems so tiny :rotfl:
Mobil 1 oil filters and Mobil 1 Synthetic oils 5w30 are on special @ Canadian Tire until saturday, time to stock up then

Yeah, I stocked up quite a bit when they were on sale. I'm good for 5 more oil changes...
 
It is crazy how we get literally robbed in Canada...a few weeks ago when i changed my oil i paid the M1-110 full price from Canadian Tire $18 + 15% taxes
This time around with 40% discount i got several ones in addition to a few 4.4l Mobil 1 jugs!
