So I recently replaced valve covers and I made a rookie mistake and realized I mixed up the connectors that plug into the ignition coils on driver side! The number that were labeled 2,4,6 were very brittle and broke into dust lol while removing valve covers! A pic or some guidance would help please , 2006 fx35

Hoping someone will post some pictures. But for the time being, if you let the connector lay naturally, it is all that you need. As I remembered, there is almost no slack that you can cross connect them.

If you pull back the the little black cover for the connector what color are the wires? That would help me out a lot ! I appreciate the pics by the way!!

so i put everything back together! The car hesitated at first to start! but is running fine now i drove about 1 mile ,,,if i was to mix the connectors would i notice immediately that something is not right?

Thank you! I really appreciate the help! Turns out they were all in the correct spot and now I feel sane... once again thanks !

I did that once on my g35, 4 and 6 can be swapped by mistake. You know it immediately though because it runs rough and sounds like a subaru if you try to drive it.
