your ka24de looks clean. do you remove your timing chain guides yet?
i had to remove mine because of ka's infamous timing chain rattle.
actually removed both upper and lower guides while i had it open and found out timing chain tensioner was seized up too with gunk of oil

Ah, yes, the rattle... I guess I should remove those guides :wub: but it's just developed a new noise (when cold) that has me more worried. ...Besides replacing a bad MAF (back-fire balls and 10 mpg!) I've had this motor for over 8 years now and it's still strong. Might be time for a rebuild soon, which will cut into my FX mod fund: Coil-overs, GT-R 20's and Cosworth plenum.

my 240's been cutting into FX's mod fund too...
i started looking into GT-R 20" too but they are really hard to find at resonable price.
if i can find four wheels with same sizes (20x9.5) for under $2500 just for the wheels, i'll grab them right away.

Took some real pictures of the FX
Realized that I haven't taken any good pics of the FX yet.. Car was dirty but it didn't really show because of bad weather.

i was afraid of that, too much growl... i always liked the stock muffler sound, euro sound... decided on my flowmaster 80 and left the resonator, bit of a growl.

i'm using old first generation sony dslr alpha100. paid almost $1000 years ago. now days i can get sony alpha700 for $900...
and tires are toyo proxes. its almost brand new and came with the car when i purchased it. think its little hard but overall not bad tire. handles really great on dry/wet roads.

The wheels arrived really really fast!! Ordered them Wednesday afternoon (06/09/10) and its in my hands already (06/11/10). Super fast shipping from MRR.
One bad thing though.... I ordered +35 offset and they shipped +40 offset... wtf...
But I'll just keep them since the wheels look too good to ship it back and wait another week to receive the right ones. Also it'll be heavier with 5mm worth of metal added on the hub =P
btw... wheel is 32.9lbs exactly

MMR HR-4 20x9+40 Diamond Black
Now.. +40offset will not clear the axle bolts so I had to run 1/8 inch spacer all around. This won't be a issue if MRR sent right offset I ordered first time (+35mm)
Also I found out that oem 20s are 31.5lbs each, not 42.5lbs. So MRR being 32.9lbs, I gained 1.4lbs on each corner. Also I'll be running 5mm hubcentric spacers if current spacers cause highway speed steering vibration.
