thanks but i'm a noob on photography. those pics u quoted are from pman - I think he used a Nikon D200 with 18-105mm vr. the photos I had take were from my D80 with Tokina 12-24mm f4.

cropping and some photoshop goes a long way .

i guess having a nice camera helps... im guessing all the really awesome pics on the scene is prob using something similar and no digital camera? still using my storm:frown:

All my terrible pictures are from my phone...
Those who take great pics are being modest when they say the camera is doing all the work. IMO, artistic discretion is hugely important in good photography.
