I am considering selling/trading my 2011 Infiniti FX35 AWD for a hybrid vehicle. I'm looking into the 2016-2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring which has 49city/48hwy mpg.

Reason why I am considering getting rid of my FX is because I will be moving to the city where there is no garage or driveway. I will be street parking and it's going to be my daily commute home to work car. I just want to be able to park without having to worry about damaging such a nice car.

As you all know, the FX isn't great on gas but you get the performance out of it. With hybrid cars, I can get 600-700 miles per tank for much cheaper gas price. I've never owned a hybrid car before nor know what sort of maintenance that is required for it. If anyone have any insights or knowledge on it, please comment below.

I will definitely be getting rid of the FX for either Honda Accord V6 or Hybrid. There is cons and pros between the V6 and Hybrid model, (For example: V6 model has more trunk space with 60/40 rear split seats. Hybrid has less trunk space, no 60/40 split seats and no spare tire to accommodate the battery) but as far as gas efficiency, is there really a big difference?

The Q50 Hybrid only gets 27city/32hwy mpg. I feel like it's not worth it for the price. And I'll be living in the city so the car will always be street parked. I don't want to always worry about people damaging my car. So Honda seems like a better choice.

Do you still make payments on the FX? And you will buy a brand new vehicle and not worry about damaging it? Wish I had those problems. I don't know what your story is, but I see a lot of this on forums where guys sell vehicles they OWN to buy vehicles they have to make payments on so they save couple hundred a year on gas. Well you are saving money on gas but you're making car payments so in reality you're spending more money. Then when the vehicle is paid off, they do the same thing ultimately not saving a damn thing.

I'd hold out for the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Fantastic build, and if it's anything like the Guilia Quadrifoglio, it will be an exceptional SUV.

Yes I'm still making payments on the FX. I'd figure I can sell it and get the Honda for the same price. Of course I wouldn't be buying it brand new. Buy used with low mileage. Possibly have to spend a bit extra like 1-2k.

I know I'll be downgrading on car brand but it will be newer, and more technology.

Part out the fx before trading it and try to turn it back to stock as much maybe you can recover some money there

I live in the city and park on the street. Really not a valid reason to sell the FX. But if it's the fuel mileage you are looking for then that's another story.

I just got a ford fusion to drive my 160 mile trip to work and back. I gotta tell you I LOVE IT! I never thought I would like a ford as much as I do. I get around 54mpg on it if I'm a little aggressive i get down to 52 mpg. The drive was killing my FX. Now my fx is in the garage and is going to be getting a face lift.

I will definitely be parting out my parts when weather gets warmer so look out for part out thread soon. Hoping to sell/trade the car beginning of Spring. Yes basically fuel mileage is why I'm considering. 50mpg would be nice compared to 15mpg that I'm currently getting on the FX.

The wheels will be at my parent's place in Queens, NY so it's actually really close to you.
I have other goodies too so look out for my part out thread soon =)

Oh nice! that's close to me... i'll keep my eye open
