Messed up Sub Install

I have taken my sub out of my G37 and had it installed in my 2014 QX70. I gave the car audio shop an amp kit, LOC, and sub/amp.

The issue is the sub sounds horrible on most songs and doesn't hit nearly has hard as it did in the G37. I have read that several people have had this issue as well. It sounds like they connected the LOC to the amp, and it's getting the BOSE processing.

After searching, it sounds like I need to have them remove the LOC and go straight into the amp..

I didn't want to bump old post. Also, this post sounds similar,

Any ideas what I can tell the car audio shop? I just want to make sure I'm prepared when I take it back.
Thanks

They didn't tap in the wiring harness in the trunk. I'm not sure what they did. I will take it to another shop. I don't trust them. When I called to ask when I could bring my car back in to have them look at it, they told me they've been having issues with their installer..

After looking at it, it seems they tapped in the left and right back speakers. They gain on the LOC is all the way up. I would have to guess that the Bose EQs the speakers differently than the sub. I guess I just need to splice in the sub harness and rewire the LOC.
