megan headers??

i found a guy on craigslist out here in chicago that is selling a SS Megan racing headers. Has anyone heard of these??

Also, they are for the 350z/g35... will they still work with my 04 fx35

Can you use headers with the stock exhaust?? i like the sound of the stock exhaust.. i really dont want it to sound like a rice burner.. i just want more power!!:glasses:

sure it will work .... I would check into the cost to install it in your area first. that might steer you away from buying it

Bigturk had a thread on headers similar to these. He wasn't a fan, because they weren't equal length.

I bought TopSpeed headers from someone with a 350Z and I was very happy with them. The sound of stock exhaust + headers is amazing. I believe the TopSpeed and Megan are knock-offs of much more expensive headers... I forget which ones.

As far as Megan goes, I also had resonated test pipes that were made by Megan. The resonator material (a honeycomb pattern inside) rattled after ~2,000 miles. The welds themselves held up fine, there were no mechanical flaws with the outside of the test pipes, only what sounded like change rattling around inside the resonator areas.

Installation is horrible on these though, I managed to get them thrown on for free (the whole reason I bought them in the first place) because my motor was out at the time and instead of giving the installer the stock headers I gave him the new ones.
