looks nice. besides the aesthetic appeal, is it functional in any sense? A spoiler so small probably doesn't cause any down force and maybe causes the aerodynamics to worsen? i.e. fuel economy decreasing but not noticeable?

I'm not knocking this as I'm probably going to get this. Thanks for telling us the length to get.

I always did like that mod. Can he get more made and painted?

I just realized that our spoilers are black regardless of the color of the car. I think if we got color matched, it would look funny. I would say to get the same color lebron23 got, [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]KH3-Black Obsidian

That is what you got Lebron23?

L0L you are right on paint code Chedman13, we all have black rear deck
So ye 39" KH-3.

Humberto,
Nah, that's some market in Korean Town. My rails are coming...still need to find Black cross bar and snowboard rack, getting ready for the winter!!

Hmmm you guys got me considering this.

It doesn't look bad I'll give you that, but I'm just not completely sold on it yet. I think it's the ends that kill it for me... I think I'd prefer it tapering down or somethin, I don't know if that would work though and could possibly look 10x worse than if there was a defined starting/stopping points to make it more like a real spoiler... it IS unique though, and that's part of the reason I like it.

few tips on install
  • Find the center of the spoiler and mark it with painters tape.
  • Find the center of the 3rd brake light and mark it with painters tape.
  • Cut the protective cover of the 3m double sided tape in the center and peel both pieces slightly so just a small part of the adhesive is exposed.
  • Align the 2 pieces of tape together (spoiler and 3rd brake light)((this should be the center))
  • Press down on the center and peel the tape off (from center out wards as you align the spoiler) do both sides since the tape should of been cut in the center from the 3rd step.
  • Put the car in the sun to soften the spoiler and press down again making sure you have it fully pressed on...especially the edges.
Also I don't recommend getting a spoiler longer than 39" because of the curve, the spoiler and adhesive does not like sticking on the curves.

Jeff, I think you should come down here on 12/2 for the toys for tots event so we can all get a good look at that spoiler and maybe see it in action at the track.=)

will be heading to SD around X-MAS so I don't really want a drive so much. I am still waiting for the Jan. Cal Speedway schedule.

Jeff that looks really nice! if you can could you take a full side profile shot so i can see how it looks on our color with the rails...it would help me decide if i want one or not.

btw your FX is extremely clean compared to mine lol...havent washed her in a month and its been raining almost every other day :frown:

I will try and get a full side shot tomorrow. I really like how the little lip changes the look, they should of came this way molded in from the factory.

anybody know if the stock spoiler is molded into the hatch or is it removable? A molded in lip would look hot.
