Just make sure you practice first on something else and prep the car well. The biggest thing that pissed me off was water trapped under some weather stripping. It messed up my line on the back window so I'll have to cut it with a x acto knife.

two quick stupid questions

1- should you call insurance company/Vehicle registration cuz of color change incase of accident or police stop ?

2- are your rideheight the same as shown on picture

I was thinking of doing it to my FX50 rims but I would not want to take it to the car wash and have it peel off right off.

#1 I'm not sure. probably wont because i don't plan on keeping the color forever. Its temporary and for fun.
#2 In the pics with the trash bags over the wheels I'm almost all the way up. I usually drive with about a 2 finger gap in the wheel wells.

Just make sure you clean the wheels really good with alcohol. I think wheels should be safe to drive through the car wash if you spray it right. The Plastic Dip tucks the edge inside the gap between the tire and rim. That way the car wash wont be able to lift up the edges.
Do 4-5 coats so it'll be easy to take off when you get tired of it. I know i sound like a broken record when i say that but i can't stress it enough. Plastic dip is a pain to get off if its light coats. One Spray can per wheel is all you should need and that's about $7 each.

These videos are very helpful.

May worthwhile to do this for the winter time.

Yeah PlaticDip makes a good paint protector. I'm even thinking of clearing the front bumper of my truck with Plastic dip instead of trying to get a clear bra.

For anyone planning on doing their whole car here's a thread i did on the DipYourCar.com fourm.
shows my mistakes and pics of it.
Main thing i did wrong was sprayed too far away. You have to be 6-8 inches.
