Matrix 3W Cree LED

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone else was using something like this, or similar to this, in their city light for the 2nd gen FX's. The reason I want a super bright bulb is that sometimes I like using just the city lights in cloudy/rainy weather when I have enough visibility and I don't need the headlights on.

They're the first ones on that page.

The reason I ordered the matrix is so that the housing can get light inside it to reflect around, so it'll kind of function as a weak DRL in the cloudy/rainy/overcast days, and evenings when there is enough light outside to drive without headlights, but dark enough to use the LEDs.

Thoughts/suggestions?

How did these turn out for you? I just ordered some 7443 CREE's for my front parking/DRL bulbs for my '07. They were kind of spendy ($43/pair) compared to all others but I am hoping they are really awesome.

at $11 each, I doubt they are brighter than the Sylvania single LED bulbs I bought at Autozone for my license plate.

Wow haven't been on in a while but these turned out amazing, they really look good in rainy/foggy/dusk. And they look awesome in the sunlight. I use them primarily when I just want the city lights on, but its not quite dark enough to have my headlights on.. and they look great. Unfortunately I have no clear pictures as of yet, but I'm working on taking good pictures, just gotta find a good camera to work with :P

Obviously the picture shows it a little brighter, but these are a good indication of it..
