As I mentioned in the Y PIPE thread, I am making a custom exhaust.
I am contemplating on buying this Manzo Muffler Delete Axleback, but it is made for a G37. I know our cars can bolt this on but will need an extension pipe to make it flush with the FX37/QX70. So right now, I'm thinking of getting this then having my shop add ~6" to make it fit.
Then, I have also been thinking about a completely custom exhaust - muffler delete will cause a lot of rasp so I was thinking of adding resonators in the middle of the pipe on this muffler delete exhaust pictured. (My exhaust guy makes custom exhausts extremely well so I would just take the resonators + muffler tips and have him make it look like this with the resonator on halfway on the pipes. (resonators picture below this one)
MY MAIN GOAL IS TO AMPLIFY THE GLORIOUS VQ EXHAUST NOTE, NOT CHANGE IT TO A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SOUND. The MANZO AXLEBACK HAS A LOT OF REVIEWS THAT SAY THAT IT KEPT THE VQ GROWL INSTEAD OF CHANGING THE EXHAUST SOUND COMPLETELY LIKE MY INVIDIA GEMINI DID.
