Manumatic with UpRev tune

Today I decided to impress my client who owns a 2006 E55 AMG. We were cruising along doing 55 mph, when I got the sudden urge to test out my manumatic. I dropped it down to 3rd gear giving the same acceleration as it was in 5th, to pass a car.. next thing I know the FX lunges forward and I am pushed backed real hard in my seat and my head slams against the head rest :jump:. I think I might have developed a little concussion. My client on the other hand, was very impressed and he said he has never experienced anything like this in an SUV.

Now, I have driven my G35 5AT in maumatic many times before while downshifting, but never felt that type of torque pull. I can only attribute this to the UpRev tune. Any of you guys with the UpRev tune experience this while driving in manumatic?

Isn't that just a standard downshift? If you're going from 5th to 3rd, it's going to slam you back. And having ridden in an E55 and E63, 3rd gear pulls in the FX isn't comparable to what those cars can do.

Lol i´m finally Mapped and ready to go with my F/I but can honestly say in manual it's almost not doable and best to keep it in auto mode. Revs way to fast for the gears and shifts to keep up eventhough we did the TCM trough uprev as well.
