I have a silly question, does the passenger airbag work with the custom work done on the dash?

The suede is just a wrap, the airbag should bust right through it.

I was going to purchase a FX35 and swap a 6-speed in it. Two weeks ago a dealer had a FX35 and it was listed as a RWD. I was like cool i can swap a 6-speed and such. I travel all the way down to the dealer (4 hours away) and found out its a awd. FX was in great shape so i purchased it . Anyone ever try a 6-speed swap on a AWD car?? LOL!

awd stick conversion will be a bitch... the only way I've come up with doing it so far would be to get an r34 awd skyline tranny & cut the bell housing off & weld on a different bell housing... might need to do it at some point but def not a bolt in swap... will be a lot of issues here & there, but should be pretty sick setup too

I was thinking the same thing, to bad i sold my gtr transmission after i swaped the RB26 engine in my Z.
