Manual Conversion

Has anybody ever thought about a manual conversion? Would be nice to have a 6spd fx. Anybody want to test it out on my car for free??:6wink: (hello any shops looking at this)

Couple years back, shady told me that lms would like to try it and it would probably cost a couple thou. I told him I was interested and never heard about it again.

wow, & if my fx was a stick I'd be looking to spend $$$ to have it converted to automatic

it should be a pretty straight foward swap mechanically, electronics might get a little screwy but I'm sure even that could be delt with, hard to say exactly what would have to be done with electronics but that's the kinda thing you would really have to get deep into it to come up with solutions, worse case you may need to build a module or maybe even swap out to a z ecu..., of course this would only be practical to even consider with a rwd. awd would complicate things big time

I remember right when I bought my FX I had just trade in my SPEC V for it and it was a 6-speed. I would have loved to have at least a 5 speed in my FX, but then It hit me. It's a luxury car / SUV(Correction) with the heart of a sports car.

When I was at Techno Square with Will about a acouple months ago. I seen M35 Project car that they were doing for Drifting..

I looked at the inside and it was a Manual Transmission..

Yea, they finally finished the conversion. I think they are still working on other stuff on the car.

I was riding with that M's throttle body for a little while cuz I needed to swap while I was there. That makes me part drift FX
