M37 22's

I currently have my 2011 M37 running on 255 x 30 x 22's. I'm about to invest in the Eibach Pro Kit to eat up the remaining wheel well gap. After looking at other peoples set ups, it seems people are running 245 x 30 x 22's when the vehicle is dropped. From my understanding the Eibach kit is a mild drop, do you guys think I would have problems using my existing tire size of 255 x 30 x 22? Any rubbing?

Sorry can't help with 22" wheel & tire fitment

H-Tech springs would be a mild drop, Eibach's would be next.

I think you'll be fine with the Eibach's but you should look in to your offset and how wide are your wheels.

22's do a good job of filling the wheel wells but at the same time they lift the car up too much.

In for pics

Hopefully all goes well. I recently did a suspension drop and I'll need a camber kit to adjust my alignment properly at some point. So be mindful of your drop and correction of your toe and camber. After the suspension settles.

All went well with install this weekend. Gonna give it about a week to settle before taking it for an alignment. The stance on the car is definitely an improvement and the ride comfort is about the same as before. Deecarp1, you have me a bit concerned now about camber issues, I've looked online and can't seem to find any camber kits for the 2011 and up M's. I was under the impression that if the car had camber issues after installing Eibachs that they would have made a kit to correct that problem. Any advice on this possible issue?

You should wait 30 days or about 1,200 miles before getting an alignment.

Alignment will be worst the lower you set the car. It's always good to get the 1st alignment just to see how far you've gone.

Most in my area go to Sears for alignment as it's covered for 6 months with no extra charge, I went and took my father's Sentra to firestone and paid $169 for lifetime alignment.

I'm going through Z1 motoring, they have an adjustable control arm for the front and a camber kit(rods) for the rear (made by SPC). So as far as a correction that is what we have so far that I know of to correct the camber.

Did we get any confirmation on the Y50 camber kits working on the Y51?

Nothing from what I can tell, but the SPC kit for the rear look similar.

Did you get the arms? Could you provide more info on this?

I orignally talked to Jon at Z1 via email who gave me the impression that he could get parts for the vehicle. Apparently he can not follow through. After calling and emailing Z1 on face book he finally got back to me. The bottom line was he couldn't get the suspension parts. Bummer and a waste of time. The good that came out of it was my continued search for parts. Megan Racing does make a kit for the rear. Part Number MRS-IF-1180 for Traction, and MRS-IF-1110 for the rear lower camber arms which is what I ordered. I don't need the traction rods but I may order it at a later date. Still on the hunt for the front suspension parts

That's a bummer.

I had heard about the Megan parts, but hadn't heard of anyone pulling the trigger on them. Please keep me posted on how it turns out.

If any one is wondering, I just installed a set of 265/30/22 on my '11 M37x. I also have some Eibach lowering springs installed. No rubbing/clearance issues at all with the 265/30/22 set.
