Hi dave, is Andy nice meeting you're guy and thanks for the info you send me or and the wheel is good I installed tire and it's roll fine but still very little vibration in high speed. and for the noise I might just bring it to the dealer let them do it once... and see what happen
I will try to do what you had suggest about pull off the battery negative and I'll update if there's any difference..

Get an alignment, & There will be a difference in performance, for sure. If you've been driving in lazy mode for so long, you'll be very surprised by what the VQ is capable of. It's a real torque monster of a V6.
At the dealership, just act dumb in regards to any notes that the SA's documented in the computer "I never hit anything "

BTW, welcome to the scene! . . . & I love your name. If you need an Avatar, let me know, & I'll do something up for you.

Running a 8 gig now and I have yet to get it to show under 999 shots remaining on the lcd even with the highest quality setting. But RAW does take up ALOT of space.

yep, as OXO_IS now minimum 4 charactor, so add IS.
I did try 2 dealers they both said the same.
because I hit something so warranty for the bearing is void.. I even call infiniti consumer affair. they said the dealer is thier ear. the bottom line they don't care what you said.

I'll repeat, say you didnt hit anything. The replacement wheel has gotten rid of any evidence of any contact. Go to different dealer, & tell them you dont know why the dealer wrote that you hit anything. If anything, that would be the purpose of the new wheel you're riding on. The rash on the wheel was so minimal, I would bet that the contact would have had any effect. Maybe the misalignment caused some damage. I would keep trying, cuz I think the dealers trying to take advantage in your stuation.

Never mind - found out what happened......was there a 4th person at this meet and where is his FX???

Yes Will, oxo came by to buy one of Daves spare oem wheels. Forgot to take pictures of his stock black FX. He has some issues that Dave tried to help him with as our internal board tech guru .

I was in a hurry back to work that day. and for warranty problem. I might just have to pay for. price for the wheel bearing $339+tax installed.

and for lazy of the line. I did pulled of battery negative press the brake, I feel no difference. maybe I need mod my intake like Dave.

we kind of made a promiss that we will try to get together once a month.

Maybe next month we can get together...

I will need to get another Black FX to come... To many DG ... I really did feel like the black sheep...:tongue:

if the next one falls on a wed or fri afternoon, i may be able to join you. i gotta see your pearl black in person .

It's not the mods that's making the difference. Intake/exhaust mods are generally gonna give you better pull on the top end. You're hurting on the bottom pretty bad. We were discussing your lazy mode, & Pierce thinks the ecu needs time to adjust to repeat spirited driving even after reset. I always thought that after a ecu reset, the maps are all brought back to baseline, so your fx should start learning its new program at that point. Does someone here know which is the case?

But the stock maps aren't that aggressive to begin with(so hence the TS reflash) so resetting the ecu won't do anything but bring it back to stock parameters. But once you teach the ecu your driving habits and style it will respond and learn.
