Lug Nut Help! GTR rims

I am going to go get some tires mounted on my GTR rims today and was wondering...

1. Can I run the GTR rims on the lugs that are on my OEM 20s until I get aftermarket lugs??

2. What aftermarket lugs should I get for them? (Good looking, good fit, etc.)
 
quick search on gtrlife.com-- a lot of the people there like the Project Kics (R26 short and R40 longs) or the Muteki SR48s. Can't go wrong with either IMO.
 
I had my OEM lugs on my gtrs for a couple months and like ^^^he said I too bought the r26's.

just make sure they are acorn style.

I had extended lugs on mine and they were great since I didnt have to worry about accidentally scuffing up the wheels plus the wheel lock didn't stand out like the ones above...
-Anodized aluminum are good; can be found from many brands.

By the way, your first gen is my inspiration. It was my laptop background for a good while. :)
 
Here is how Muteki SR48 Locking lug nuts look like. Neochrome, open end lug, 48mm.

Man those neo chrome ones look Nice... keep us posted on the durability of the finish. I'm thinking about selling my black sr48s and picking up the neo chrome ones instead

I like the Muteki ones. I have the Rays extended anodizes aluminum right now and thinking of switching them. The anodized aluminum looks nice, but they are very soft and the color wears off easily. I wouldn't buy them again.

Rays are the ones I had. Great lugs. - mine werent too soft but I agree the color wore off after a few installs.
 
And here I thought the GTR wheels used the same lugs as the G37, the mag style ones...I learned something today, thanks guys.
 
Rays ones are cool, but not very strong. I'd rather get something more solid even if it means they are heavier. Also had part of one of the Rays threads stick to the lug.

Not a good look for $200 lug nuts
