Hey guys, has anyone found a set of electronic horns that are loud, sound nice opposed to the ones we have stock? The stock ones just don't do any justice on the roads and I need something that sounds mean..

What I don't get is why the second horn is inside the front left wheel well liner..seems to get muffled. 1st gens had them both by the locking mechanism.

Zebra has tried both the wolo horns and super tones. I have a set of super tones on my bed ready to be installed.

I came across his YouTube video, the wolo sounds like a truck lol the supertones sounds high, what I wonder is how well can they withstand rain, salt, etc. Can't judge them too well on video.. Probably sound better in person

DAAAYYYUUMMMMM LOL! now I need to find space to fit this....

I was thinking of mounting the electronic horn from a Police car setup..but doubt that's legit...just like in GTA 5 when you upgrade the horn

Here you go. 2 best options out there IMO

Stock vs Wolo 619 +stock

I have the Horn Blasters Conductor Special Train Horns in my FX. 4 big horns with a compressor and tank in the trunk. Loud as hell. Just as you see in the video with the pranks.

Train horns are legit, anyone running on bags should have them, since you are already going to have a compressor and tank.

Has anyone done a write up with photos on replacing the stock horns? I have replaced the stock horns in my last 3 cars. I put the FIAMM 74100 on my wife's 2011 Outback. Very loud, and not a high pitch tone. Her car was easy. A previous car I had (2009 Subie Legacy) I had to remove the plastic bumper cover to access the horns under the passenger headlight. :eek.: It took me a while to do it, so I made a photo how to for future people.

I can't find a write up with photos, so I will do it. BUT, I can't post photos because I am still too new. Whatever.

I replaced mine yesterday. It was not too bad. See my write up: https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=22024-Replacing-stock-horns

I put Lincoln horn I'm my F150, when one of two stopped working, until that it just sounded anemic.
Put big old Cadillac horns on my'67 Pontiac, now people move!

So, what I'm saying is; perhaps look to OEM for a big old truck horn. Does the horns in a QX 80 sound bigger and louder than ours? (FX-QX70) Titan? Probably easy to exchange.™
