Looking to buy a FX

Hey guys, just signed up on your forum since Im researching what FX to buy.

Im looking at a used 05 or 06. Are the any big differences that would be selling points? I know the 06 has the bluetooth option and a slightly differnt looking dash/radio. Anything else such as better seats, body work, or anything of that nature?

I have a G35 6MT right now and love the car but I just took a new job that requires me to sit in traffic and the G does it cut it when I want to head up to Tahoe for some snow boarding.

Any advice/recomendations what FX stands out the best for the price would be great. I love the new FX but cant afford a new car.

the grille, front bumper & lower side trims are upgraded as well on 06+. the seats are changed as well as the dash too, the 06 refinements are nice
 
I would get the 06 for the upgraded dash/console alone. Also on the 06 you have a slightly different front bumper, grille, fogs, lower larger chrome piece under the doors, different front brakes (if I remember correctly), not sure what else I am forgetting.

If you're getting nav - the navigation software changed for the 06 also....the first gen nav is kinda weak but gets the job done
 
Welcome to iS! Just go check out and '05 and an '06 and I think you will want the '06.
 
You can't go wrong either way. But if the price difference is not considerable, go with '06 for the differences mentioned above.

+1. Both the 03-05 and -06-08 styles are nice. I decided for the 06 for the styling changes and I found one with the packages I wanted.

There aren't a lot of 06s out right now. Many are still on lease.
