Looking forward into getting an 06-08 fx35 soon.

Hey everyone my name is Danny and hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be behind the wheel of an fx35. I currently own a 09 370Z touring/sport 6mt and a 2000 5spd Maxima for daily driving. I have to sell the Z because my wife and I have twin girls arriving in November. I know they are rare but I'd love to have a sapphire blue, black interior, and fully loaded, then twin turbo it. I've also had an 05 G35c 99 G20 and several fwd sr20 powered Nissan. so there is my story in a nutshell.
 
Welcome to IS Danny! You will love your stay here because everyone here is cool and very informative. Btw excellent color choice lol, I have all you want and i know for me it was insanely hard to find a sapphire fx without wheat interior lol. Also congrats on the upcoming twins.

Thanx! I came across one recently on craigslist and it had already sold. I have a feeling i'll end up with black or graphite.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the upcoming event. The FX works well as a kid hauler (especially when they are little).
 
thanx everyone, right know my wife an i think her car, 07 Murano, will be the primary kid hauler, but we will see. my schedule is a lot mote flexible so i think I'll be the one taking the little ones to day-care in the am etc. I hope i can find one with the dvd package, that would be icing on the cake.

I've been contemplating on keeping my rims that are on the Z. they are 20x9 20x10 concave in the rear flat black powder coated Axis Angles, and just going with a higher sidewall tire of course.. I have wheel spacers for them as well. I'm not sure yet.. I may just put them on when i get the fx and decide from there. It will be lowered on coilovers soon after i get it. I wish my stance suspension from the z fit the fx.
 
I'm only getting rid of the Z because i have to, but at the same time i am very excited about the move to an fx. I really wanted sapphire blue but it looks like the chances of bringing home a fully loaded copper with persimmon interior might be in the works.
