Looking for an FX35

I'm starting to look for a used FX35 2009 - 2012. There's a slight chance I may get a G37x but most likely I'll end up with an FX. I'm currently driving an '04 4Runner (which I'm keeping for my daughter) I've had since it was new and it has 88,000 miles on it. So, I don't put a lot of miles on vehicles...my drive to and from work is 10 miles round trip. I'm not concerned with resale as I'll likely drive the FX for quite a while. With that should I seek out that low mileage FX with all of the goodies on it? Navigation is a nice to have but not a deal breaker. What's the cost to update the maps?

I'm hoping to end up with one that has under 40,000 miles on it. I've seen a lot of base models with very low miles for pretty decent pricing. So, what's better...low miles with not as many add ons or find one with everything on it and take a bit higher mileage one given I don't drive a lot of miles? And, lastly what about certified pre owned...worth the cost or not??? I've test driven a couple of FXs and a G35x and just loads of fun to drive!

When i was talking to a dealer rep, he was saying a certified pre owned would come with and extended drivetrain warranty. You may want to look into that

Also, any thoughts on certified pre-owned vs not certified? I'm finding certified are a bit more pricey.

of course....certified preowned = adding a warranty onto any car

just like buying a house.. + property tax and homeowners insurance = higher monthly payment

I looked at a 2009 FX35 and the certified pre-owned designation added about 2500 to the price tag. What I'm really looking for is any stipulations about required maintenance to keep the warranty active. My wife's Maxima has a lifetime warranty through our dealer beyond the factory warranty as long as we have them perform the recommended maintenance...at some point though that will probably cost prohibitive.
