Here are some pictures of the LMS CAI that I tested a prototype for the FX45. There are different variations due to model years of the FX and the MAF sensor type. Check with LMS on availability. as this will shed light on what I have experienced and what should be avoided and/or done in sequence for optimal performance without causing any damage.

Here are a couple of pics of the polished and black crinkle coated versions of the LMS CAI. It comes with an open cone K&N filter. Also, the angle of the cone filter will not be as severe as in the pictures as that is a feature of the cone filter and not the intake tube.

The tube itself is 3 1/2 inches with no lack of air. I must say LMS did a great job with this as this thing really howls and growls. When you punch it it suks in air like nothing and it will give you a good kick. You guys will really enjoy this!
