LMS intake + TS reflash with or without exhaust?

Okay... so I really really want to get Stillen's exhaust but over at TS, they suggest getting the reflash AFTER the exhaust... do you guys know if there's a huge difference between LMS/TS reflash AND LMS/TS/exhaust ? $1,400 Stillen exhaust, tax and installed is a little hard to swallow right now...

do you guys know anyone that got the exhaust after? (here and/or .org)
 
I think Rookie is selling his Stillen exhaust. Not sure if he still has it. Also Le Bron23 is selling his for $800. Check the for sale section of the forum. Rookie is selling his for $750 with a welded midpipe.

Get all the engine and trans related mods done first then do the TS reflash. It will make a difference. That way TS can map your ecu specific to your mods.

I know, I'm just wondering if I should get the exhaust at all cuz of the price... but if I can get those used ones for less... then that's a different story. I'll still have to have someone install them for me though... I live in a condo and don't really have any garage space...
 
don't mean to highjack this thread but, what does TS stand for?I have scheduled to get the TC and the Exhust to be done this week. I have been suggested to just reflash my ECU in order to re-orientate my fX with the mods.Good adviced from someone who has done this would be great.thanks

Humberto, do all the engine/trans related mods first then have TS do the reflash.
 
thanks Dave and Pierce.I will look into it and do it when I also do the VB ond the trany.can I still reset the ECU on my own applying what is on our how to section? will there be any benefits from doing it after my 2 current mods?thanks.Sorry for highjacking your post. I will star a new one.

You can still reboot your ecu thru the infiniti method or by the battery method. The ecu will relearn on its own but doing the manual reboot will not hurt it also.

Just pull the negative off, then pump the brakes to get rid of any residual juice.
