LMS intake or Fujita intake and some new question

Found this on ebay. Is it any good? I kind of lack of confidence in ebay items.

Since LMS CAI is no longer available, my option is only left to Stillen or that intake I found on ebay.

Any advices are greatly appreicated. :2smile:

Never heard of this product. But I would stick to what has been tried and true.

Some guy @ G35Driver is selling a used Stillen high flow intake kit taken out from his G35. Will the kit fit the FX??

I think the mounting points are different for the z, g and fx. I'm sure the 35 guys know more detailed info.

To me a 3" intake tube is just a 3" tube .... I have gone through a variety of setups and did not feel any difference between any of them. Having one made for the fx makes it easier but sometimes you have to mod those also to get a setup you like.

Thanks, Jeff and Dr.2k for the advices. I will probably go with Stillen, since it has been tested by the majority.

Just searched on Stillen and mynismo.com. The part number for both the FX and G35 Hi-Flow intake kit is exactly the same. But I still don't know if they are the same or not, the seller can not confirm it as well. Dang!!!!

they should be the same, just make sure you keep your accordion piece (stock). My setup used to have the Stillen Z-tube, I just swapted it out for a CF one

never mind the ORANGE coupler (you should used the stock one)

Install went smooth. When doing the pedal push to reset the ECU, the CEL didn't blink at all...when I started up, it wasn't on either. So just to make sure it reset, I disconnected the battery overnight. Definite difference IMO .

pretty easy huh? :top:

where did you puck up the stillen, cause that was quick! glad to like your mod.

Got it off their website. Ordered it on Thrusday of last week. The next thing in line for the truck is paint. Co-worker has a body shop where we are going to throw some clear pearl on and give it an ultimate wet look.

Yeah, they were quick!! The box was damaged though so I had to make sure they didn't screw me over, but all was good.

As far as the paint, it's nothing major really, just going to buff it down really good and hit it up with a few coats of clear coat but wanted to add in some pearl. Probably have it done in the next few weeks.

Just got an email from Steven from LMS. They said they don't have the complete LMS intake kit for the FX35. But they have the pipe. I will need to get coupler and clamp and filter.

I am thinking combining the LMS pipe with the Stillen kit without Z-tube. Then will I have everything I need for the intake mod??
