LMS intake or Fujita intake and some new question

To make it fit I had to trim the hole on the stillen box a bit so I could fit a extension tube.

So basically

Throttle body >> LMS Tube >> Silicone coupler/Tube Extension/Stillen box/Filter

Thanks Jeff. I got the idea now. Now I just have to wait for my buddy coming back from Taiwan with the strut bar (my gift :4tongue:)
 
This might be the stupid question. But do you guys know if Stillen sells only the airbox? I'm thinking of getting the LMS and do what Jeff did to make it fit into the Stillen airbox. However, I can't seen to find the place selling only Stillen airbox. :ooh:

For the tube extension, does it come with the LMS kit? or I have to purchase somewhere? Sorry for such newbie questions. :2smile:
 
I think your first step should be to see if you can even get a LMS piece. Last I heard they stopped selling them. Unless they still have a couple lying around. Your only option is to find a used one if they dont.

True. Sorry I was being a bit too excited for my upcoming first car mod :4tongue:. I have emailed LMS for product availability. Hopefully they still have few of them. Thx for all the helpful replies. I greatly appreciate those and your time. :2smile:

By the way, which kit did you ordered from stillen, the High flow intake kit or the Z-tube intake kit or the Hi-Flow Intake with Z-Tube Package? How much did it cost you?
 
I ordered the hi-flow package. Total came out to $278 for ground shipping. I looked at infinitipartsusa.com for it, but it was more expensive there (by $20 or $40), so just got it from stillen.
 
Do I need to order the High Flow intake with Z-tube package or Just the High Flow Kit will be fine?

I have LMS CAI coupled with Stillen Airbox & K&N Xtreme cone filter.
Best set up so far...my .02
