I wrote this on the other forum and figure I'd put it here as well:

2003-2004 Infiniti M Bulb Size Chart

Low beam headlamp: HID-D2R
High beam headlamp: 9005
Parking light: 1157
Front turn signal: 1157
Rear turn signal: 992 (7440)
Tail light: 7443
Stop light: 7443
High mount stop light: 921
Fog/Driving light: H3 (55W)
License plate: 168 (158 or 194 can be used)
Back up light: 921
Front sidemarker: 194 (158 or 168 can be used)
Rear sidemarker: 194 (158 or 168 can be used)
Dome light: DE3175
Step/Courtesy light: 158 (168 or 194 can be used)
Trunk/Cargo area: 158 (168 or 194 can be used)


2006-2010 Infiniti M Bulb Size Chart

Low beam headlamp: HID-D2S (HID equipped cars) or H1 (non-HID equipped cars)
High beam headlamp: 9005
Fog/Driving light: H11
Parking light: 2825 (many folks including myself are running 194's)
Front turn signal: 992 (7440)
Rear turn signal: 992 (7440)
Tail light: LED
Stop light: LED
High mount stop light: LED
License plate: 2825 (many folks including myself are running 194's)
Back up light: 921
Front sidemarker: 2825 (many folks including myself are running 194's)
Rear sidemarker: LED
Dome light: DE3175
Step/Courtesy light: 158 (168 or 194 can be used)
Trunk/Cargo area: 168 (158 or 194 can be used)
Map light: 57

Just to clarify, after buying 2 wrong bulbs for the map light, I finally bought the correct bulb. Front map light is size 57.
 
Yeah, I think by dome light (which traditionally is for the passengers in the back seat) that's what they meant. They simply didn't include the front in their list.
 
I just ordered Chrome 7440 for fronts and rears. I'll post before and after pix as soon as I get them in. I just wanted to get rid of the amber color in the housing.
 
I wish I can do a before and after, but you can compare them with your cars.

I followed your diagram. You have to remove the tail lights to install them in the back. They were pretty straight forward. I had to remove a portion of the air box to install driver side front. Fronts were a lot harder. I had scratches all over my hands plus, I had to remove a part of the air box to access the fronts.

All in all, I like the subtleness of them.
