Left exhaust hangs lower than right?

Does anyone's left exhaust hang lower than the right? I was walking to my car after work today and thinking to myself on how dirty it is and noticed the left is hanging lower.

It's not a huge difference, but I can fit about 2 - 2.5 fingers on the left side between the tip and bumper, but the right barely fits 2 fingers. I know it's not a big deal, but once i notice these small things, it gets to me. I'm thinking of adjusting the hangers when it gets warmer, but just odd how this is.

It was like this on my '05 subaru legacy GT and i fixed it by moving the hanger a bit, just didn't think it would be the same on an infiniti.

Yah mine is too. The left side hangs slightly lower than the right side. I noticed it when I was polishing the exhaust tips. Probably needs an adjustment on those hanger things that hold it up.

never noticed that with my oem exhaust. you might have to bend the flange a little more. doesn't sound like an easy job.

I'm going to take it to the dealer and have them mess with my tip of my pipe so it sticks straight up and not lower.

Stick a pry bar in there and adjust it. That's i did. No harm will be done. Your merely adjusting the tip a few milimeters.

I have the invidia exhaust also. Had the same issue. The tip slides over a pipe comming off the muffler. Useing a pry bar (inserted into the exhaust pipe) to bend it whichever way works fine.

Anyone ever get this fixed? I still haven't got mine fixed yet lol.

It seems this is common on the G37 coupe too and the only way to fix it is to replace the exhaust. Someone said it has nothing to do with the hangers and just that the exhaust was accidently made that way and that the actual pipes are crooked.

I haven't seen a single fx that was 100% even. I assumed that the hangers were made with a bit of play in them.

my invidia exhaust also had its left tip lower than the right. A shop in Brooklyn fixed it for me. The guy just inserted a bar and bent the hangers. Brooklynjohn referred the shop to me.
