LED vs HID headlights/fogs

You asked for it so i did it! I installed 6000k leds & hids and compared glare and light output on them
and it looks like im changing my leds to hid because hid creates alot more further light output as to comparing it to
led wich creates more glare at close range and less light output. I also mounted the ballasts away from the parking sensors because i heard they might cause some interference with the signal or something? I might be wrong but the frame support seems to be the best spot instead of hanging tie em on your harnesses. Heres my lil project

That's awesome, Edwin! The HIDs definitely seem brighter and more focused. Excellent side by side comparison!

Also, it looks like the color temperature isn't right on the LED bulb. Almost looks like it's inthe <5k range.

Guess I will be ordering the HID kit instead of the led's for my fog lights from the retrofit source in the near future

ope I'm not hijacking the thread.. I had my fogs modified to fit a morimoto matchbox projector in there. Still have to adjust the cut-off level because it only lights up few feet ahead of the bumper which isnt great. But the light is VERY bright and the very clear. Now it looks better than the headlights! lol
