LED side mirrors

I'm going to order a set of led mirrors from Hong Kong. These are the same ones that Marus used to get. If anyone is interested send me a pm. My price is 70.00 + shipping. Shipping should be under 10.00.

Do you have pics of the covers your ordering?

just finished cutting my mirrors but I'm having wiring issued. i followed the informative write up by getluckifx but idk why its shorting. I ran two sets of wires with the wire connectors. when i tested the power from the wires connecting to the signal, it powers up fine. but then i connected those wires to the ones i ran through the housing and all i get are sparks. I figured one of the wires i ran must have got cut and is touching so i tried the other light and is doing the same thing. this project is very time consuming, had i seen those "trust my reputation" mirror covers, i woulda bought those lol. so why else would it short out?

Oh the TC6 (MB) version. :good: I remember one of your post about the MB mirrors or just the led turn signals form ebay. Show us some close up pic on how the led seat with the cover. Very interested in doing too.

Haha yep the TC6 version. I had to email him for help. It's a lot a work trying to get the right cut so its smooth, straight and not over cut. I will once I get them mounted. About the eBay post, I was saying that had I seen those before, I probably would have tried those first. Only thing I probably certain of is the eBay LEDs are not as brigjt as the s550 signals. Notice how thin those signals are compared to the S550.

when doing this project, you wanna be as precise as possible when cutting and smoothing out because if that line is crooked or over cut, you will definitely notice it. with mine, i think i did a pretty good job for this being by first time, however i must say i barley nicked the paint when using the dremel. the mirror covers sit pretty flush but since the mb sigs are somewhat thick, the back of the signals is barely touching the piece that the mirror pops in and out of, therefore the bottom isnt quite flush. but its hardly noticeable.

Came out good. !!
thanks, just gotta clean them up and get some of that extra silicone off the covers. thanks for the write up, i woulda been lost without it.

Infiniti11, they came out very nice :good: I will make a set. Which template did you use.

Yeah, I have a "Marus" set. Nothing wrong with it. Just have always wanted to try out the TC6 version.

Haha gotcha :). Cant wait to see. I'm gonna change up mine to the Arrow style LEDs. Kinda dog that look after getting them on my CLK.

they came out really nice for the first time you've done it. it's almost impossible to really get your first set perfect, I'm sure if you ever did a second one it'd wind up coming out even better than the first, I didn't perfect mine till maybe my third set. the bottom curve following the lower part of the light is a pita, but believe me, even with slight imperfections these are so much nicer than the ebay ones, side by side there's no comparison, good job bro :)
