Not sure if this goes here or "Interior" (please move if needed)

Like the title says replaced the interior lights with units from SuperBrightLeds.Com and wholly dog doo! supremely bright! I was a bit surprised on how much light output these things were giving off.

I have been using this supplier for a couple of years and the products just keep getting better.

This was a quick job to replace all 12 bulbs but I did screw up the removal on the back seat over head light, but quickly learned the lesson and recovered.
If you are looking for max light with next to zero draw, this is an easy upgrade.

Here are the P/N#s from Superbrightleds.com
QTY 2 : 3022-CWHP4
QTY 10 : 921-CW12

These P/N#s have the cool white designator , so if you want a different color you will have to change the # accordingly .

We installed them on our 09 FX50S ... go to automotiveaddicts.com and search for "Bright Cars: A Newfound Infatuation over Automotive LED Lighting".. i cannot post links here for some reason.

Hi. Im about to do this upgrade for my FX. I was wondering how hard is it to get to these bulbs and open the covers? I dont want to break any of the covers without having any knowledge of how to removing them. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

not hard at all did this yesterday just put a pice of cloth over the screwdriver so u dont Scratch anything. good luck

Good tip. I like using a mini felt head with painters tape around it. One pain in the rear is the license plate lights to remove the plastic cover to get to the bulbs what a pain. I still haven't put it because its so easy to scratch the paint. Damn Infiniti why couldn't they make that easier.

Just remove the small/long piece that covers the lights... No need to remove the plastic that touches the paint my dude.

I think that's what he is talking. About the black part that covers the lights wasn't easy to get off or put back on ...

The 3022-CWHP4, where is it for? Thanks!

Edited:
Got it! It's for the front dome.:wink (2):
But would it be the same type of light that I would use for all the inside cabin & cargo light?

I assume the 3022-CWHP4 are the dome lights and the other 10 921-CW12 are for the doors, rear map lights, rear cargo area, and the footwells?

What lesson did you learn? .. id like to not make the same mistake :)

Answering my own question this time

So the inside rear overhead lights only require removing the light cover .. not the entire housing

The trunk on the other hand you have to pop out the full unit to replace the bulb (and a small screw to get access to the bulb once the unit is off the car)

Hope this helps
