Hi everyone,

Has anyone fitted LED's for their Fogs..Seen them on Ebay..Look very bright and are
a direct replacement for our OEM fogs.

Any info would be great..Also if anyone knows an honest seller as there are so many on Ebay and they all say they have the best and brightest LED's.

Thanx

Sohail

LED technology is not there yet, at least for consumers. They are very bright, but the throw distance is not there. So they may work for fogs if that is what you're looking for, it will scatter light and be usable in inclement weather, but most of us (at least what I think), are looking for driving lights with farther throw.

Case in point are my LED angel eyes. They are really bright, but there is no way I can drive in the dark with just those on.

theyre bright to look at and about a foot in fron tof the car, but they dont really project rnough light to make them worth while....if you want bright, get a nice HID kit

HID is the way to go:tup:

I'm sure someone here will eventually retrofit a set of 2011 Audi A8 LED headlights on their FX

35W H.I.D. 6000K is the way to go and they match the stock Bi-Xenon too. I did mine, now my friend wants to do his but, the fog lamps are kinda welded on to the bumper. We took the bolts off and they still do not come off, mine where not that difficult.

Did you remove the bolt on top of the fog light housing or just the one behind the fog light? The bolt on top (from the inside of the bumper) holds it in.

I dont "exactly" have LED fog lights but i doe have LED right next to them .... my camera takes to many details, from the human eye i can see noo colour difference
