Leather Seats - How to clean?

So, how do I clean the leather seats without getting the cleaner stuck in the perforations? Or is there a clear leather cleaner? Thanks all. Happy Easter!

There are a few different ways...

The first way is to use a product called Lexol. Its a better consistency than something like Armorall which is really oily. Use a small amount at a time. Being too generous with it gets a little greasy. Try using a cloth after application to clean excess application.

The thing about Leather is it drys out and eventually starts to crack from the threading. You want to care for leather regularly and avoid using products that are too oily. Water is not a good idea either because it increases the dry out process.

Its also important to vacuum the stitching area well because dust and little grimy shizzle gets stuck in the seems which leads to dry out and tearing.

If you think the Lexol is too greasy there is another product by Meguiar's in their Gold Class Product Line (great stuff) called Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner. That has a great consistency and it cleans well too.
