LA: Shops or people who can paint headlight housing & grill

I'm searching for a shop or someone around Los Angeles who can paint my headlight housing and my stock grill flat black.

I've seen the posts for DIY, but I think it'll take up too much of my time since I work a lot.

I've been trying to track down Caskyline for a couple years, but I think he retired from the game.

I've called around:

  • AKA Eurosport (they are powdercoating my rims as we speak)
    • $300 for headlights, includes uninstalling lights from car
    • $170 for grill, includes uninstallation
  • Fastforward Wheels
    • $150 for grill, includes uninstallation
  • Amplified Motorsport
    • $300 for headlights
    • $100 grill
    • $100 for uninstallation
Any other recs? TIA.

sorry if I didnt help much, but hope someone in cali can.
 
instead of all that, try and ask other Cali IS member if he/she can do it for a reasonable amount. $300 for headlights is an obscene amount. I would personally do it for less than $100

I'm glad you went to AKA for your rims your gna love it, and for your headlights and grill try these guys they do an awsome job too thier in Glendale "REGOSPORT"818/547-3337, im pretty sure they'll charge much less .

thanks for the AKA referral. took a while for me to find them. They're actually in NoHo now, and not Studio City. But their website listed their Studio City address, and I was there for 10 minutes this morning scratching my head... :eek.:

it was an interesting scene at the shop. lot of germans in leather jackets and black pants sipping expressos and wheeling and dealing in on the phone surrounded by benzo G-wagons.

i'll try out REGO tomorr.

Yah they are in NOho studio city was thier old address, and LMAOOO germans, leather jackets and black pants, that was funny, actually thier armenians. Yah bro try out REGO tommorow.

well its cheap compared to AKA, why you had a bad experience with REGO lol,

LightWERKZ in Carson, CA could have helped, but alas their out of business now. They did awesome work on the headlights of my cousin.

I'm in Vermont, so NY will be my logical and economical choice for next month.
