i have a 2004 Rwd sport package on my car, im about to change my struts and shocks. Did any of you put non sport KYB on your sport suspension? Did it make a difference, improved ride comfort, worsened handling? Did anyone try the Sport ones? Was it OEM like?

really? at discountautoshocks.com, there was an option for sport and non-sport, also in price difference...

interesting.

they are the same, go to kyb official website or tirerack.com -- only one part number available.

I have KYB all around, same as OEM, just doesn't come in a nissan bag.

check ebay, I got mine pretty cheap on there and got the rest on tirerack.

I thought I remember something about the OEM shock actually being KYB products... In that case it doesn't matter how they compare because they are the only option outside coils. In any case new shocks > old shocks if the old ones are past their prime. I never experienced brand new oem suspension on my fx, but for me the kyb units were a huge improvement in every area. I swapped at just under 60K miles.

oh yeah, much more expensive option, but I would do coil overs if you're going to pay for the labor anyways. Labor might be cheaper since no spring compressor is needed for the Coil overs.
