hey i here u guy talk alot about the krylon fusion paint for the grill...i wanted to black out the head light and the tails u think i could use this ????

I personally say No, JMO. being that the krylon fusion is a paint and not a tint paint. coverage would quickly defuse any light trying to shine through. There are spray tints that could be utilized or even better overlays. there a few here that have overlays on their light and maybe they could chime in. I think pierce has his HL covered, and I think will has his tail done as well. but don't quote me on that.

Better to use vinyl tint on the headlights, but you can utilize tint paint for the tail lights. But like Dee said I would not use the krylon fusion paint on those parts.

1.thanks for the input but i meant the inside of the headlamp:laugh:...like put it in the oven and pull it apart...since thats plastic on the inside would the krylon work?

2. for the tails i wanted it to blend in with the body....i figured that since they were leds it would shine thrue

yes, fusion would work on the inside of the lamps. I used krylon fusion in mine and it has been over 2 years with zero problems.

Jeff can you show us what it looks like, just curious. Also planning to do something with my tails, but I have to plan it out and I'd like to get extra tails in then event I mess up.
